Sunny weekend!

On Saturday this golden orb appeared in the sky...what is it? Ah yes, the SUN! We had a glorious, sunny holiday weekend. I can't remember the last time we had two (or even one?) straight days of clear, warm, sunny weather. John and I made fresh muffins and read the paper as the sun streamed in the windows on Sunday morning, then went out to buy new running shoes. Monday morning I tested out the new shoes with a long run with Queets on Alki beach. It felt like summer! Sailboats on the Sound, the hum of float planes, and all the mountains out in their full glory.

Everybody was a little giddy in the office this morning from all the weekend sun.

Of course, it's supposed to rain the rest of the week...
