Salmon River Saturday

Yesterday we spent the afternoon on the Salmon River, up by Mount Hood. On the drive up, the mountain popped in and out of view. August kept saying "muh muh" - we thought he was saying muffin, then maple. But duh, he was saying mountain! The river was cool, lush and green. After splashing around and digging in the sand we had dinner in Zig Zag, and got milkshakes for the car ride home. A sweet summer afternoon.

Celebrating Bunny

We had a short but rich trip to PA to celebrate the life of my grandmother Bunny. It was wonderful seeing our extended family. Here are some photos, more to come.
